VIOL RELEASE AGREEMENT - On at approximately 11:00 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a report of a violation of an order. Deputies located the suspect, Jared Lee Crawford, 28, of Lebanon, arrested and lodged him at the Benton County Jail. Security camera images of the suspect and his vehicle were shared with neighboring law enforcement agencies. An unknown suspect broke into an RV and stole a number of items. THEFT 1 FROM VEHICLE CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 1 LITTERING UNLAW ENTRY MOTOR VEHICLE - On Friday, October 7, 2022, deputies were dispatched to investigate a vehicle break-in in the 5200 block of NE Elliott Circle, Corvallis. He stated he was okay, and would stop being loud. He did not want to come to the door, but deputies could see he was lying on his bed. Deputies contacted the resident, who was intoxicated. SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE - On Tuesday, October 11th, 2022, at 2:43 a.m., deputies responded to the 5600 block of NW Oak Creek Dr, Corvallis, for an occupant yelling and banging on the walls. This was the second time in the last week the stop sign had been taken out of the ground. The subject carried the stop sign about a block south, leaving near city hall. They stated sometime between last night and this morning an unknown subject worked the stop sign out of the ground. Deputies contacted City of Adair workers replacing the stop sign at the NW corner of the intersection. Deputies later issued Hartman a criminal citation for a warrant out of Josephine County Circuit Court for Failure to Appear-DUII.ĬRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 - On October 11, 2022, at 7:55 am, deputies were dispatched to the intersection of William R Carr and Arnold for a report of someone tampering with a stop sign. WARRANT ARREST - On October 11, 2022, at around 5:50 pm, deputies were dispatched to Crescent Valley High School for a call involving some type of juvenile runaway/custodial interference, which was unfounded. This report does not reflect all Sheriff's Office activities and is updated as time and personnel allow. Any arrest and complaint information included below is based on the legal conclusion that, as with any criminal case, a charge is merely an accusation and a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
